Malmö Airport

  • Malmö Airport is located in Skåne which is the most densely populated part of Sweden.
    It is a part of the Öresund region, which together with Copenhagen, constitutes the largest growth area in Scandinavia.
    The well-developed infrastructure makes it easy to reach Malmö Airport from both Sweden and Denmark, regardless of whether you drive a car or use public transport.
    The motorway to Malmö Airport connects Sweden with Denmark via the Öresund bridge.


Training Aircrafts and Simulators

  • Nordic Flight Training owns and disposes a number of training aircrafts for single and multiengine training, complex and non-complex.
  • Nordic Flight Training has also our own FNPT II training certified for both single and multiengine training.
    For the type rating training on Boeing 737, Airbus 320 and SAAB 340, we also dispose full flight simulators in both Stockholm and Copenhagen.

Training Modules

  • Nordic Flight Training performs all training as a modular course.
    This creates the highest level of flexibility and ability to customize the training for each individual and their previous knowledge such as licenses or flight experience from another countries.
    Here is a brief description of each module:

PPL, Private Pilot License Training

  • 45 hours of training in single engine aircraft. 100 hours of theoretical training.

Night Rating

  • 5 hours of flight training and 8 hours of theoretical training.

Time Building

  • 105 hours of time building to reach the required flight experience for issue of a EASA CPL (200 hours).

ATPL, Air Transport Pilot License – Theoretical training

  • Complete EASA ATPL theoretical training course including both distance and classroom training, 650 hours in total.

Instrument Rating / Multi Engine Class

  • 40 hours of flight training in FNPT II and 24 hours flight training in multi-engine aircraft.

CPL, Commercial Pilot License

  • 15 hours of flight training of which 6 hours in multi-engine aircraft and 9 in single-engine aircraft.

MCC, Multi Crew Cooperation Course

  • 10 hours of training in FFS (integrated with type rating) and 25 hours of theoretical training.

TR, Type Rating

  • Boeing 737
  • Airbus 320

  • Technical Type course (80 hours CBT),
  • 4 days of classroom training,
  • 32 hours of training in full flight simulato,
  • Touch and go landings (base training) 4 – 6 landings in aircraft.

Touch and go Landings (Base Training)

  • 4 – 6 (depending on previous experience) landings in aircraft.
